So, for anyone whos been checking in my boat, you know oh too well that nothing has been happening. I have been trying to get time at it, but it hasn't been very easy. I don't really know why??? I've only been dealing with the job of being a new parent, and the little venture of opening a restaurant! Long term it makes perfect sence to give up all boat time for work (I'm pushing 80-90 hours a week in the kitchen), in the hopes that in 5-10 years i'll have all kinds of time! lol.
But anyway, I've been putting a little time here and there into organizing the garage once again, in the hopes to work on it little here and there at night. So I turned the boat over, build a new set of stands (ones that gave me a little more walking room, and kept the boat level while turned), and picked up some new pine and cut some strips. Then for good measure I got some of the starter strips stappled on, just to feel like I did something.
After flipping the boat, I did notice a couple strips on the bow and stern that let loose over time. I also noticed a couple spots that I may need to redo, pending on how the boat planes out when I get going. That or I may fill a couple of the little dips with glass and epoxy before I coat the whole bottom. we shall see!
