Been a busy few weeks with work, but still finding a bit of time in the evenings to pudder at the boat. Had part of a day off, and even managed to fiberglass the deck! So all it coming along nicely. Had a few little hickups, but all seems well. I may have to do another slight fill coat on the top. more to even out a couple spots. But not something that delays forward progress. I need to sand the whole boat once she is together and one, before putting a varnish on, so once sanded I'll decided if she needs a little more epoxy and put it on then.
While cleaning out the garage, I started to think about how hard it was going to be to seperate the two pieces. They have been one piece for about three years now. And its normal for some epoxy to seep through the staple holes and ahear with the frame. I did add some extra tape to the frame before starting, so I was hoping it would go well.
Back to the story. I was cleaning the garage, and started to size it up. Found a gap in the shear line, squeezed my fingers in, and started to tug! 3 minutes later, the deck was in the driveway, frame was on the wall, and I was cleaning out the bottom... easy!
Not much typing today, enjoy the pictures! Sorry for quality, taken on cell phone
